The Tamil Nadu Waste Management Forum (TWMF) team visited the Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), Chennai, on 24 June 2026 and met the Additional Director of Municipal Administration (ADMA) to submit DPRs for the following projects:
1. Dry Waste Processing Unit
2. Integrated Waste Management System
3. Animal Waste Rendering Machine Installation
4. Tirunelveli RDMA Control Area – Dry Waste Processing Unit
5. Kanyakumari Special Project for a Holistic Waste Management System
The delegation included:

The team also visited the Thooimai Mission Office, where they held detailed discussions with the officials on sustainable waste management policy implementation. Later, the team met the Disaster Management officials in the same building to discuss future collaboration.
